What is Orthopaedics?
Orthopaedics is the branch of medicine that deals with the diagnosis and treatment of conditions related to bones, joints, muscles, ligaments, nerves, and the spine. When this structural system of the body is affected by injury, ageing, imbalance, or disease, it can impact our ability to walk, sit, stand, and perform everyday activities.
